Satinized Glass

Satinized glass is produced by acid etching one side of clear sheet of glass; Satinovo glass has a distinctive, uniformly smooth and satin-like appearance that gives obscurity/privacy without compromising light. One of the popular advantages of this product is that it does not mark with fingerprints or dirt as readily as sandblasted etched glass.

Stained Glass

Adaro make leaded lights and stained glass using traditional techniques and materials. ā€˜Cā€™ Stained glass is actually glass that is hand painted with special stains and kiln fired, but many people use the term stained glass when describing leaded coloured glass.

Our team concentrates on matching and repairing period feature windows, they work with antique stained glass searching for the best glass that matches the original in colour, tone, thickness and texture, they also offer a fine painting service and have a detailed knowledge of chemical processes. They take the utmost care over our restoration and conservation projects, and enjoy working with architects, church and heritage bodies.

Here Adaro Glass offer a bespoke service to suit your design specification.
